70 442 paint question

I am looking for information as to the firewall color on a 1970 442. I have read that it is 30% gloss black. I have also seen them done body color. Which is correct? Thanks for any help.

Semigloss black. The firewall was never body color from the factory - well, unless the car was black...

Joe:
Would you happen to know if the bottom of the hood was painted body color or black? I'm leaning toward black, but I've seen so many that have been painted body color, I'm not sure. The bottom of mine is black....
thanks for whatever help you can give
