Name this steering/susp part...
Starting the chassis reassembly so I bought all new moog stuff for the steering system, painting them all up to match my frame. Everything seems to be identified and accounted for except this one part. I have a great memory but it's short....

After posting the pictures I thought there may be confusion. It's not the center link - it's the small part. I have a new idler arm that bolts to the PS frame - unless there is one on the DS side too...I wish I took better pictures. It looks a lot like the idler arm but I dunno...
Eric - are you referring to the box? It\s a complete set of energy suspension bushings. Other than that it's all stock parts painted gunmetal gray.

The 2 parts in the picture above are not related at all. The bottom one is a typical A body idler arm, the top I have no idea. The drivers side has a pitman arm on the steering box and the top part in the picture again is not it.

Part question
I'm drawing a blank on the actual part name, but that arm without the attached bracket (idler arm) bolts to the bottom of the steering box and connects to the center link. Is that the Pittman arm? I received the same thing in my set of Moog parts.

I believe it is the idler arm as something tells me the factory idler arms may have been a 2 piece assembly. I think there may be a bracket that he has that would connect to the ball joint and that bracket will bolt to the frame. The new units come as one piece.

Funny thing is - I'm sure I have the original idler arm at the shop. It's not the pitman arm either cuz there are no splines. Oh well - I'll start the reassembly and see if makes itself evident.
Thanks for the assistance, regardless.
