B-body with double exhaust over the 4link rear axle

I can only find 1 side (example right) with the correct bend that will go between the upper controll arm and and the spring... but i found this type on summit racing and ebay... but the curves is not the same.... have some one experince with this pipes over the rear axle with 4link and spiral springs?

The last pic here is like the orginale curve i guess.... but i should have right and left side.... i will see if rock auto have something.....well its always possible to weld togeather a copi..

Have you looked into just having a local muffler shop put together a system for you?

Yeah, but they dont have that big bend that is on the top, i have a pipe bender but its not good to use, im woundering to just buy one for the side and take it with me to a muffler shop and see if they have parts and have something to make a mirrowed copy.

all i need is that bend over the axle, the rest i can make self if nessesary.
OR just buy two in same side and just cut off and twist it mirrored bends and weld together....hmm maybe thats a better idea.

have search for many models now on rockauto but looks almost everyone have only single pipe. i found a nice dual kit on ebay with rigth curves, but very expencive.

well i will just email them and ask if they have something that can fit anyway.

If you can weld just get yourself some bends and make yourself a pipe. I have done this before. Just figure out each portion a lttle bit at a time cut weld and move onto the next portion. I bought a kit of different Mandrel bends off Ebay and ended up with a nice exhaust system front to back.

Oki, yes i think i need to do that. I can always make bend me a model in brake lines first, then build it from that model, but i guess i Will buy at least one side finished, maybe two of the same and just cut it up, turn the parts in mirrowed direction and weld it.

The tail pipes for a 1991-96 Caprice/Impala with dual exhaust will fit your car. Here is the stock 2" exhaust with the Walker part numbers:

There is also a Dynomax 2.5" system, shown here:

Rockauto sells these parts.

Im searc for the part nr 54015 and 54014 on ebay and find the parts.. but i see in the decription it stand "aluminized steel "

what they mean with that? is it steel pipe with aluminum look? or is it just a protective coat on the top ?

i should have steel so i can weld if i need to modify it in the tail tips..cause i cant weld aluminum.

EDIT: i order the 54015 and 54014 anyway.

Aluminized steel is steel with an aluminum coating that resists rust.

You can weld it.

You are thinking of the zinc in galvanized metal coatings. The aluminizing is really just pure aluminum that is flame sprayed onto the steel as a rust preventative coating. You do need to remove the coating where you will be welding, but that's to prevent contamination of the weld. It doesn't give off toxic gasses.
