question on interchangeability

would and front and rear sway bar from a 68 GTO fit on a 70 cutlass? the guy has front and rear the diamater is 1.5 inches not sure if thats stock or after market

but would the GTO sway bars bolt up?

Yes they fit and yes they're aftermarket if they are 1 1/2". I think only Herb Adams sold the 1 1/2" front and back bars. You will need the larger frame brackets and isolators for the front bar and you will definitely need boxed rear arms. These will make a tremendous difference in handling. Herb Adams used to sell special threaded inserts that swaged into the frame for attaching the front bar since the stock self-tapping bolts tended to pull out with this much stiffer bar.

so i would have to fabricate the parts to bolt it up or?

is there a place that sells the parts?
