Anybody know if there are interchangable fenders or any other parts for a 1966 Olds Dynamic Holiday coupe. I bought a 1965 sight unseen online (big mistake) on the sellers confimation that they were a near perfect match. Not even close. Email me at bark_eater@hotmail.com with "olds fender" in the subject line. If you got parts email me too. I have misc parts for the 65 left.

Ryan,
The front fenders are the same for any full size 1966(only) Olds. The trim will be different but you can use a front fender from a Jetstar, Starfire, Ninety Eight, Delta 88 or Dymanic 88. The doors are the same for all 88 series cars (Jetstar, Starfire, Delta 88 or Dymanic 88) within the same body style. The front doors are the same for a Ninety Eight Convertible, two and four door hard top and the same body style 88 Series. The rear doors from the Ninety Eight hard top and all of the doors from the Ninety Eight Sedans are different. Same goes for the glass. Every thing from the B piller aft is different on the Ninety Eight when compared to the 88 of the same style. All mechanical parts (except the drive shaft) will interchange between the full size cars (except the JetStar 88). The JetStar uses a small brake and rear axel in addition to using the 330CID engine. The JetStar also had the Jetaway (THM300) and the TurboHydomatic (THM400) as optional transmissions - The big engine 88's and the 98 used the THM400 as the only auto transmission. The front bumper is the same on all full size 1966 and is a 1966 only unit.

Quarters are the same for 65 and 66 88's with exception that Im talking about the face area....the part where it curves around for the quarter panel extentions are different from 65 to 66.....so you can use a 65 quarter on a 66 or vice versa if you use just the face of the quarter..... basic doors are the same for 65 and 66 88's. Fenders and hoods, trunklids, etc do not interchange between 65 and 66 full size cars.
