buffing clearcoat

Hey guys, I just painted my ride yesterday. My first full paint job. I used Sherwin Williams basecoat clearcoat. It came out alright aside froma couple of small runs and some light orange peeling. Now comes ttime to scuff and buff. I was wondering if anyone had any step by step instructions on how to fix the runs and buff out everthing so it looks nice. I have plenty of product on the car so I imagine it is a matter of sanding and buffing. I just have never done this before and don't want to ruin anything. I have an electric buffer with a wool pad but that is about it. Any good websites for info? Thanks to all in advance.
