Do you want to do that because you cannot find a 78-80 front clip, or you think its cool?
If you do the entire front clip, You will have problems with the body lines. The doors are shaped different and will cause clearance issues with the fenders. The time, money and effort you are going to spend on getting it to look right, you would have bought a whole 81-88 Cutlass. The body lines will be off if you try to fit a header panel as well. A lot of time will be spent making it match the fenders. I can offer you an alternative if you wish. I am selling a complete 1979 front clip with an aluminum hood. http://www.oldspower.com/vb/attachme...8&d=1168229755 Let me know if that interests you. Hood is not pictured as it is stored in the garage. John |
