How does one move a roller without coil springs
Anyone had experience with moving and trailer loading a roller ( 72 Cutlass )
that has no coil springs or shocks front or rear. There is no motor or trans in the car.
Will the body drop onto the tires without the springs ?
The car is 2 hours away and I wanted to go prepared.

My frame/chassis doesn't have the front springs installed yet, so I cut 2 short sections of 2x4 and slipped them into the spring pockets to hold up the front suspension, I don't see why you couldn't do the same in the rear, notch the ends of the 2x4s to sit down into the spring perches so they stay put. Should work well enough to move the car.

I'd use 4x4, but this is the standard method.
