Good 73-77 cars have been tough to find for a while. People didn't hold on to them and they had rust issues, though mechanically they'd live forever.
Now that they've come into their own for collector interest, the available pool is small. 76-77 seem to be more common. BTW, 6 months is not long at all to search for a car you really want.

There was a 1973 442 for sale on the Portland Craigslist for almost a year. Finally they parted it out. You just have to be in the right place at the right time, but posting your location would help us point you in the right direction. Also, if you've not found the site called 73-77olds.com you should join there too and post under the car wanted catagory on both sites. John

Location is always good to know, or do you want one no matter what?
I saw some 73's on Craigslist, the one owner job is pretty nice, saw two of them anyway. The '73 4-4-2 on cars online is a V code. They may have made some V code Vista Cruisers according to the V code Guru. http://easttexas.craigslist.org/cto/1125367559.html http://tricities.craigslist.org/cto/1128504025.html http://austin.craigslist.org/cto/1129952634.html http://www.cars-on-line.com/39056.html |

I have a friend with one he is trying to get rid of, I think it is a 74 though. Let me know if it would be of interest. PM with contact info and I will forward it and you two can talk directly.

I agree about the needle. I just started looking for a 69 Cutlass and either they are project cars or out of my price range. I did find a frame off restoration that I will probably go and look at. Thanks for the great forums!!

There have been a few this year on Craigslist in Phoenix. Solid, rust free cars too. Watch the Phoenix Craigslist!

Heres one on the San Francisco craigslist posted on 10/8/09. Listing # 1412421347. It is a factory 4 speed car too! (408) 482-6757 will put in in contact with the owner. Good luck!

Yep, that is the one in SF. I had pulled the wrong number off a sheet of notes I was keeping. Anyone know how many 73' 4-speed cutlasses there where?

There have been a few low mileage Supremes on Ebay. They were beauties! They'll probably relist as none had sold from what I saw.
