1968 Cutlass Supreme 4 door....not mine

This car is parked by my daughter's house in Ogallala, Nebraska. I took the pics yesterday and she found out the following info about the car according to the owner. So, if you have questions call the owner, Arnold Sexson @ 308-284-4710.

1968 Cutlass Supreme, 350 Rocket, 2 speed Dynaglide tranny. Motor and drivetrain all original. The interior has been redone to original, the motor was overhauled 3000 miles ago and the car has 100K + total miles. He said it will start and run.

He said he wants $6000

Something's wrong with this picture. There was no such thing as a "dynaglide" transmission in any Oldsmobile as far as I know. Oldsmobile's 2-speed automatic was called the "Jetaway," and it bore no relationship to Chevy's "Powerglide."

FYI he is off on the pricing! There was one just west of Lansing a Supreme with lots of options, pristine inside and out with only 52k for $6950.00 it finally sold after a year and half.

I don't see the asking price being too high unless the sellers expectations are non-negotiable. You have to start somewhere. I got a kick out of the Dynaglide statement also...

It would be interesting to have... but for $6k one can acquire one of many, many much newer and faster and safer cars, so it'll take a while to find the right buyer for that.

Generally, things are worth more as individual parts than they are as a whole... and even with a recently rebuilt 350, there is not $6k in parts there.
