Another V code on eBay

4 Speed 455 bench seat manual steering & brakes car. Awesome.
Owner claims #s matching then adds that trans is an M-21. Clearly it has to be an M-20 or it is not #s.
Would love to own this car. Sure there are a few obvious things wrong with it but for the BIN price of under $18000 you get a beast of a 442 (W-29 on broadcast card & V code in VIN).

I got pics and info prior to the auction closing. Correct carb and WD-code M20 #s for a '72 4 speed (2953 QJet). Looks like it was a fairly solid car when he bought it. He mentions replacing the quarters, but it appears that he just sectioned in some new wheel lips using Supreme quarter panels, based on one of the bodywork pictures I saw.

Car was wrongly advertised as having an M-21 in it. I explained to the seller where to find & decipher the trans codes & it is in fact the original M-20.
Seller is frustrated by no bids. Told me that he had an offer on the car of $13.000 that he turned down.
Anybody near by looking for to make a deal on this car now is you chance.
