1970 Pace Car for sale

Very rare. Purchased out of a collection from the west. One of only 626 total Pace Cars made in 1970 (358 were Cutlass models, 268 were 442 models). This car is a real Y74 code Pacer as verified on the original trim tag under the hood. It is a Cutlass model Pace Car. The previous owner put in a 455 engine. The 442 emblems have been added to complete the look. I still have the original 350 engine that came with the car when new, as well as all the Cutlass emblems (the original disassembled engine is included with the sale). The paint scheme on the car is unique to the 1970 Pace Car and is in excellent shape, above average in my opinion and I am picky. The top is like new and it does have a power top.....link to the car:

Appears to be nice, but with the mods, it will bring less than a 442 Pace Car replica, maybe equal to the Cutlass PC replica. As the ac needs charging, that usually means an overhaul of those components, and the paint is wrong, should be blacked out along the rocker panels.

Cutlass rear bumper

What happened to the picture showing the back of the car? The look as you say is incomplete without the notched bumper and trumpets. Still a nice ride. Best of luck with the sale.

Thanks for the compliment. If it doesn't sell this go round maybe I will add the notched bumper and trumpets, along with the blacked out sill. Any recommendation on repro bumper mfg?

Skip the repo and pony up for a good used OEM bumper.

There' a very interesting article about The '70 Olds Pace Car " at phscollectorcarworld.blogspot.com .It states that there were some "Cutlass versions"" some "442 versions" and a few"Vista Cruiser Versions ".I searched because I had seen some with regular Cutlass emblems on the front of the hood and the rockers panels were not black, and some with black rocker panels and "442 emblems on front of hood. Both the Cutlass and 442 versions were sold to the public, the wagons were used for track activities @ Indy. There were a total of 626 replicas built, of which 358 were Cutlass Supreme convertibles 350 c.i. equipped, and 268 442 convertibles.
