1970 442 W30 4-Speed with Broadcast Card in N FL $15,000

This is the real deal. I bought it on this forum, StickW31 and others are familiar with this car. Apparently raced in New England back in the day, then sat beside some highway for many years. I had it shipped from Connecticut to Florida. White with gold stripes, black interior. Original drivetrain (engine/trans/rear) are long gone. Has mid-'70s 455 in car, turns freely, I put in HEI but haven't timed it or put a carb on it. Turbo trans, can't remember if 350 or 400 I think it might be early '70s Pontiac BB TH400. GM 10-bolt rear, possibly posi? I put on: factory hood, factory grilles, '70 front fenders, decent doors, '71 442 trunk lid, reproduction wing. Bolt-on cap Rallyes with nice tires (14" front, 15" rear), rechromed front bumper, rechromed OEM rear 442 bumper. Clear Florida title in my name in my hand.

Comes with:
Pair of '70 sport mirrors
Sport steering wheel
'70 Toro big-valve 455, 69k mile motor was running when pulled
'71 M20 rebuilt, still in plastic
Pedals, bellhousing, clutch, shifter, Mondello bushing for use with auto crank
'70-72 455 Manual cast iron intake manifold
'70 455 Quadrajet: 7040251
W&Z exhaust manifolds OR headers
Pair of 14" Rallyes with bolt on caps
AM/FM radio
Black console
Pair of OEM boxed lower rear control arms
OEM rear sway bar
I'm sure there is more

Won't take much to get this running and driving and enjoy in this condition, or definitely valuable enough for a full restoration. Frame is crusty, and inner and outer wheelhouses could use replacement.

Call or text, serious only, the '70 W30 4-Speeds are one of the most desirable Olds ever made.

Couple of interior pics, showing factory 4-speed hump. Tic-toc-tach was gone by the time I got the car.

Also comes with NOS W30 emblems and 4-4-2 numerals. Located near Melrose 32666 - about an hour south of Jacksonville, and 30 minutes east of Gainesville.

i remember her steve. nice job obtaining some of the many needed parts. good luck on the sale and if anyone wants to know more about this monster, i know all or most of the drag racing history through most of the 70's up here in the North East. I believe this girl was purchased at the famous Berejik Olds. Engine was blown up at CT Dragway in the mid 70's and junked (sad). She went through many different 455 setups for the rest of her drag career but never ran the numbers she did with her original w30 motor. Andy the owner racer never was able to biy another w30 motor or build one so he would grab several 455s 2v and 4v from deltas and wagons and junkyards and they constantly threw rods and bearings. Amazing what a handbuilt, balanced and blueprinted factory w30 motor held up. Car was looked at and authenticated by Steve Minore and myself and we located the BC card and took most of her apart and documented many of the tell tale w30 clues. She is a true race car that sadly got left in a backyard near the beach and forgotten. I found her on total accident and briefly owned her. Sadly in 80s became an grocery getter daily driver to work for andy and had power brakes added, turbo 400 long shaft tranny added and almost forgotten about. Shes an awesome car and I wish I restored her but im to **** and need original motor and trans. I have a lead on the original TO rear. and the trans possibly.
Steve good luck with the sale and hopefully she gets her much needed resto. Hows ur GS?

Thank you, I really appreciate the added verbal documentation. She's a cool car. About to go through major life event, so I just put 1971 GS455 Stage 1 w/documentation ($5k) and '65 GS vert ($3k) up for sale. If anyone is interested, they can check Jacksonville FL CL.

Regards, Steve

Pogo amazing the original w30 factory motor lasted I think 5-6 years of steady bracket racing having never been apart. Literally Andy drove her to ct drags about 20 mins to house every weekend in the spring and summer and beat on her. But every other 455 after lasted let alone a few seasons. A few passes. Lol.
Awesome history wit this car
