Documented, numbers matching 1964 442 Holiday Coupe
1964 Oldsmobile 442 Cutlass Holiday Coupe
Rare 1964 442 for sale. Only 2,999 cars manufactured, this one is one of the few survivors that has not been modified. This model was the only year that 442 stood for 4 barrel, 4 speed and dual exhausts. 330 cubic inch engine with a one year only, dual snorkel air cleaner. Muncie 4 speed tranny and shifter with center console. Rare rear powered antenna option. This vehicle was delivered to the original owner on June 29, 1964, purchased from Linehan Olds in New Rochelle, New York.
This car was purchased from the original owner in April of 2009 and had resided at the same residence in the Bronx, NY its entire life.
This car went through a 3 year nut and bolt, frame-off restoration completed in September of 2012. Complete engine rebuild. This is a documented (protect-o-plate)matching numbers vehicle.The only modifications made to the original equipment include posi-traction rear and front disc brakes. Additionally, the suspension was rebuilt with new PST components. All original parts replaced during restoration are available and are included with this car. Additionalparts including grille, wheel covers, deck plate, etc. are also included. The car was painted a 2008 Corvette burgundy paint that matches the Regal Mist that was on the original car.
