1969 442 or Hurst?

This is not mine, but I did see it get posted as what is described as a 1969 442. The owner definitely started going the route of making it look like a Hurst. Is there a chance it could actual be one? Not much information to go on.

No 4 spdcars made for 69. Bottom stripe too wide w/no angle. Wrong wheels, mirrors, M/C at a glance. Looks solid for something to mess around with though.

I think you would need more info. Wrong wheels, mirrors, intake, master, has hood insulation but does appear to have the correct hole in the hood. The valve covers have vents in the center but can't tell if they are chrome or notched. Missed the 4 speed in the listing. (thanks Ron).

pcv in RH rocker cover = ordinary intake

may or may not be a real 442 even. let's see numbers.

"4-speed" might be out of a Vega, I have seen cars half-assed together like that just to move a collection of crap parts. Not saying that is the case here, just saying it is possible with vague descriptions.

I don't know, guys. 10K for a '69 Cutlass 455/4-speed? If it runs and drives, that's not a bad price, 4-4-2 or not. Being from New England, the idea of it being a potentially rust-lite Texas car makes it even more attractive. Not saying it is, but damn that could be a fun car to cruise in.
