As redoldsman said not many manual trans cars were made in 55. Could make a great project car
It may help you sell that car if you could get it unstuck. A little Mystery oil down the spark plug holes, let her sit for a day or two and it could free it's self up with out much problem. There would be a larger market for a car that will at least turn over..... Just my thoughts...Tedd

If you have the time & spend a little effort you can possibly unstick the motor.
Might not be too stuck if stored inside the whole time.
Obviously you will get more for the car if it turns over...

I will be working on getting the motor unstuck, thanks for your input, also on your question on how many with manual trans made, I cannot find it now but I may be wrong but I believe I read somewhere there were only like 300 1955 2 door 88 sedans with manual trans made, that seems low as there were 37,507 made

stuck motor
Heres a story for ya, I just had the same problem with a 50 plymouth coupe with flathead six, the motor was rebuilt and ran for 45 minutes, then the guy let it set for 8 years without starting, motor was locked solid, I put marvel in cylinders and filled crankcase with diesel, sat for a month, got a socket, breaker bar and big pipe and it came loose, when I went to start it, it didn't even make 1 revolution and fired right up, it runs great, that made me happy, hopefully the same will work with the olds
