'68 Delmont 88 for sale all original
I have an all original 1968 Olds Delmont 88. This is a very rare model that was only built for 2 years. Needs a paint job and new fuel filter. Starts on first turn and drives like a dream on all new Cooper Cobra tires. Stops great with all around new breaks.
I have a copy of the original title and papers from the only owner. The car is ready for paint and I have all the chrome in the trunk.
AM/FM radio, factory AC, Town Car Sedan package, Rear speaker, power steering, tons of chrome.
Under 120k.
This is the four door model with the over 300hp 455 rocket.
Make an offer.
Email for more info.
Thank you for looking.
Tim

That craigslist link does not work as it's not formatted properly. Here's a working link
http://spacecoast.craigslist.org/cto/4617379661.html
and a photo of the car (never hurts to include one everywhere you can to whet appetites).
One suggestion: MORE AND BETTER PHOTOS. Including some of the interior, engine, trunk, and underneath. Also, I suggest taking them in better light. It looks like these were taken early in the morning or late in the evening when there was not much daylight.
Good luck with the sale. Four-doors are always a bit tougher to sell, but this one certainly has some positives.

Now I'm confused. Here's another craigslist ad for the same car, but this one has an asking price.
http://spacecoast.craigslist.org/cto/4614504350.html
and here's yet another ad for the same car, this one again with no price, but at least there are more photos and the light is much better. It's amazing how much different the car looks in the bright sunshine.

If I were you, I'd consolidate everything, including all of the in-good-light photos, into one well-designed ad. Then delete these other three.

I shall violate CO site rules once, and then shut up:
You will NEVER, EVER, in this or any other lifetime, get $5,000 for that car.
Good luck selling, though, and welcome to ClassicOlds.

I don't know where you live bro, but I have gotten better offers then 5k in the last month. Money isn't really an issue in Florida i guess. Maybe the rules in this forums are for those who have no idea what they are talking about.... Something to think about. Good luck in life, MD.

If you have gotten offers in that range already, then you are indeed fortunate, and I will be sure to head down to Florida if I need to sell an old car.
Good luck with the sale.

Thank you Eric, not saying I shouldnt have taken them when I got them, but I didn't and now I am forced to sell. I have to ask more than what I except to get, around 4,000. Everyone wants to low ball when it is for sell, and offers of great amounts come when they cant have it. Such is life.

First good luck with your sale. I agree on the price Tim, ya gotta start some where. My input involves spelling, the under coating is called Ziebart and breaks is what happens to the car when the "brakes" fail.

More importantly, Ziebart is an aftermarket undercoater. I don't think the car was "z-barred," Ziebarted, or anything else, at the factory. I don't think the factory did undercoating. At least, I've never seen that on an options list. Undercoating was always either a dealer add-on or done at a Ziebart or other undercoating shop.

A while back, I advertised the '68 98 Luxury Sedan for sale.
Faded original paint, ZERO RUST on a car in MI, fresh rebuilt engine.
Asked $1000 which is about what the engine build cost [I did the work]
Not One Call. Ever.
Ended up parting it out.
But, experiences vary. Times change.

My point exactly.
A couple of years ago I had a '68 Galaxie sedan - Southern car, NO rust, faded paint, great interior (except the usual split under the driver's butt), 390 / 4bbl, C6, A/C, '76 T-Bird cast wheels with coincidentally matching paint highlights, NEW tires, NEW KYB shocks, NEW aftermarket sway bars, NEW radiator, plus a bunch of other stuff I forget now, and, oh yeah, 60,000 miles, with documentation (all old insurance cards from new).
Ran it in various places at $2,500 for months with no bites.
Finally sold it to a local high school kid, and let him pay in installments. $1,200.
But, Fla seems to be in a magic bubble, so that's great.

I still say, since 67's and 68s should not differ in the back seat / rear footwell area, seller of the car should help this guy out (and make a few bucks in the process):
