It sure looks like a good project car from the photos. Unfortunately what the poster said is correct. Lots of those FWD big engine GM cars in the derbies. $800 might be a little steep for the drive-train only but as he mentioned, the rest could go for parts. Maybe J would go for it. How far is Ch-town from central Wisconsin J? Five hours max?

From what I have read here parts like the turn-signal cam and brake drums can be pretty pricey. I would guess if it has the fancy steering wheel that would be a chunk of change, too. At least somebody could buy it and part it out properly instead of letting it get ripped apart indiscriminately.

I would noot mind having a rusted out 1966-67 Toronado rear bumper (for the cut outs),. Someday I would like to have the notches transfered to a 68 Toro rear bumper.
