1958 olds 88

Selling a 1958 oldsmobile 88 with 65,601.2 miles. The vehicles starts, runs, and drives. All four drums have been serviced with new shoes, wheel cylinders, and rebuilt master cylinder. New tires (5) were installed in March 2013. Clear and clean title. Radiator has been rebuilt. New spark plugs and wires. Interior is all original with only the dash material torn and dome light cover broken. Vehicle has the original jack and hubcaps are in really good condition. All the lights and dash components work flawlessly. The body is straight and rust free! All the chrome is intact and glass is crack free. It is a four door sporting original paint in blue exterior and white top. No air conditioning but does has power steering, crank windows, altimeter, and the 371ci 2 barrel carb engine.

Vehicle will need a new battery and has small leaks from engine and trans.

Asking $7,500.00 and the vehicle is currently being stored inside at Ferrari Motor Service.

Money will be used to fund my welding school program.

Ciao, Jonathan

Posting the car's location (I, for one, have no idea where Ferrari Motor Service is) and about two dozen photos would certainly help your cause. Good luck.

iPhone labels every image as the same title so uploaded will not allow multiple images to upload at same time due to same names.

I wouldn't try to upload too many this way. You'd be better off creating a craigslist ad and posting a number of photos there and/or uploading them to a photo hosting site like picasa, photobucket, or any of a dozen others, and providing a link to the album you created.

We're still dying to know if the car really has an altimeter.

We can see the torn dash in that photo, and that's why it's so important to post photos, especially of any problems as there is no way to convey in words what a photo can show.

Does the altimeter work? In looking at that photo, it looks like the needle is pointing at the 4, which means, I presume, that the elevation is 4,000 feet. But the elevation of Fountain Hills, Arizona is around 2,000 feet. Does it need to be calibrated?

I was wondering how long it would be before a comment like this would pop up.

I was thinking that many people can achieve great heights without ever leaving their driveway.
