I just bought a 71 Olds 98 4 door hardtop. These are awsome cars. Seems like a reasonable price too.

I agree. Driving my 71 is a world of difference from driving my wife's VW Beetle.

we had several plain janes with us ,, its more for the fun and friends than it is the show ,,
the guy that usally puts it on decided not to do it anymore in 2008 so we didnt have one this year , but myself and several others mostly from texas and california are doing at least one more this coming summer out there in roswell it will be the 10th anniversery of the 1st show in 2000 .
this years show will be a non judged show at the host hotel (the sally port inn) in roswell along with a few other things to do , but like i said its mostly the people and the trip down there thats the best part ,as we get the web site back up and running i will let you know more details , but the dates are set for the last wekend in june .
we usally hit there on thursday with a big dinner party at the local mexican resturant and then just hang out , friday we plan on doing the drive in movie in carlsbad and the saturday the show and more food ,,then sunday have breakfast and head home or where ever the road takes , we hope to do the trip on out to california again so we will see what happens
hope you can make it we'd love to have you guys join us
