1973 Ninety-Eight 4-door hardtop
To my mind, this car is simply stunning. I can't believe they're selling it at no reserve and will fix the A/C at their cost if you want. (Why wouldn't you want?)

The ebay listing claims the color is original, for whatever that's worth. It would be interesting to see the body cowl tag to see what the paint codes are.
Below is the exterior color guide for 1973 Oldsmobile. It's hard to get an idea of what some of the darker colors really look like, but it looks like this car could #48 on the far right, the "brewster green." From the photos, it certainly looks like basically a dark green color. It could be the "emerald green" on the far left, although that looks too light to be the color of this car.
This car is certainly a dark-ish green.
In looking at the back side of the brochure, where it indicates what interior colors are available with each exterior color, "green" is an available interior color for either the emerald green or brewster green exterior color. And this car certainly has a green interior.
I think the car's color is original.

thanks Jaunty. It does look like a factory paint job but I don't think I've ever seen that color before. It has a hint of blue to it but it could just be the lighting. It's a beautiful color paint. I'm not a huge fan of the green interior but it is in fantastic shape.

I've browsed many of their eBay listings over the last few years.
And they do have some seemingly nice cars now & then.
But I do have to agree as stated above - buyer beware.
I've lost count of how many off the wall claims I've come across in their auctions.
I've also seen many cars from them that appear to have been given quicky makeovers - with less than great results.
That 442 clone from the other thread is a great example.
I too ... am somewhat skeptical with the color on this one - but I can't be certain.
Being a big fan of 1995-1997 Lincoln Town Cars ...
A 97 LTC in Deep Evergreen Metallic was the first thing I thought of when I looked at this.
And they do have some seemingly nice cars now & then.

Boy that's a pretty car and you can really see how elegant they were when new.
As for the dealer, I seen many of their auctions and each car is always 'detail' on the underside with flat black. It's everywhere and with little to no concern to overspray. On this one, you can even see what looks like shiny oil stains around the crossmember. Also, I think the dealer may be underestimating the task of getting the air conditioning working. Comfortron is pretty daunting to get right so I wonder what the dealer really means when he says "we will fix air at our cost if you want fixed." Regardless, the A/C issue should be clarified and in writing since parts and labor adds up quickly plus the expectation of a properly working system is alluded to.
Ultimately though this dealer has a history of posting no reserve auctions of very pretty cars that are very well presented, but pulls the auction early if their goal amount isn't reached. You just may see this car relisted several more times over the summer.
Oh and by the way, this car sold last year on eBay for $5,500 from what appears to be a low volume dealer in PA.
