^^^ what he said. Way to much rust for that ask. Everything from the floors and body has severe rust. It might need more than a rebody though. The frame could easily be that rough too. I agree with rcktdoc. Great parts car

That car will disappear with the next wash. Can only imagine what the underside looks like. It's a parts car.

Looks like a fresh Hurricane Sandy find. Someone had that treasure buried in salty sand until Sandy uncovered her. I say she should have been left in piece.

I believe that car has been completely under water. If that is the case it is probably not even a good parts car.

Yep rktdoc hit the nail on the head. My car was a Wisconsin car only had 56k on it when I got it but it was rough. Rougher than this car to be honest.

Matt, are you on something? The other one is way cooler and a better value hands down, even at the asking price!

What? No frame pics. They'll probably post some after they've scraped the barnacles off . And it looks like somebody started the body work on the drivers door. Probably didn't finish the first beer before DESPAIR set it. Love the color combination though.

Erik

I'm not considering this car, just pointing out someone could buy this for $3000 and turn it into something... and Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhush on the other thing!

The only way you could turn this into something is crush it and turn it into a 2015. It would take soooo much money to do anything with this car you would never see the light of day.

I would shove this steaming heap of elephant crap off a cliff just to witness the mushroom cloud it would make when it hit the ground.

Ouch. It's worth the value of the hood, and engine, trans & rear end as cores.

I wish I could apologize for my angst, but I'm just plain sick of seeing cars so horribly neglected for ridiculous prices. I don't understand how some people can even let them get that bad.
I understand they are old, but it takes a special kind of not giving a flying crap to get them that way.

If I don't have a use for it, and don't especially care a bunch about a car, I'll give it or sell it to someone who does.

I'm definitely no car snob. I drive total beaters religiously, but looking at that cool car in that condition is like watching roadkill twitch.

J-(Chicago), my "ouch" comment was directed at the condition of the car, not your comment about rolling it off a cliff.

I do agree, way too many cars out there rotting away because the owner will restore it "someday." The vehicle condition gets away from them, and nobody gets to enjoy the car. Ever. Not like they make these anymore.
