1969 442
Hate to do it but I need to thin out the herd so that I can focus on some of the other cars. Up for sale is my 1969 442. Asking price is $25K US ($$27,500 Can). Reasonable offers are always welcome.
Rust free California car with numbers matching drivetrain. This was a GM executive car. I have the original bill of sale & California title from when it left California in 2002.
Original 400 cid BBO with T400 & Olds 12 bolt rear end. Dual exhaust with original W&Z manifolds. 3.42 gears & posi (was 3.23 open when new). Bucket seat console car with tilt column, sport wheel, tinted glass, ps, pdb, pwr antenna and a/c.
Painted in the late 1990s. All original panels, Top end of engine rebuilt at same time. Driven to Alberta from California at time of purchase. 15" repo rims. Tires 90% tread. Odometer reads 45000. It drives like a new car but let's assume its been around once to save any arguments.
I can deliver for a fee anywhere in BC AB or SK. If you are in USA I can deliver to the CA / USA border @ Sweet Grass MT but you have to import the car.

Update
Car is conditionally sold pending buyers' inspection on Saturday.
Thanks for all the nice comments on the car. Yes I sold the Turquois 1969 442 to forum member Randy & that car is now in Vancouver BC. I also had the Peruvian Silver 1969 442 that I sold to a friend here in Cochrane AB.

This has to be one of the nicest original 69 442's that I have ever seen for sale.
I would have loved to own this car but it was just not in the budget. The owner should be stoked its not every day you can buy a unmolested original.

For some reason to find a 69 442 or cutlass in original condition is much harder to find than other Oldsmobile's.
This is one of the few cars I was thinking about getting a loan to buy it was that special.
People value cars differently to have a rust free all original 442 in Aztec gold does not get much better than that in my books.
Dave you may miss it but you have some extra cash now to find another to add to your collection.

Not a buyer but.....
Going to focus on the cars I have for now so not actively looking.
If a 1968 Ram Rod or a 1969 W-31 or a 1973 V code 442 crosses my path then I will make room in the garage for a new addition.
Besides next weekend is season opener in Medicine Hat and I have my 1972 race car and my 87 street/strip car to pound on. Changing oil in both this weekend and will decide which car to run.
