I just can't figure out why someone selling a musclecar would have all those photo's and none of the engine! I see it all the time.

Never heard a W-31 referred to as a "small block 442". There really is such a thing; 1964 and 1972.

W31

Owner posted more pictures on the craigslist listing and there are some engine shots and paperwork. Looks good. The car is in Tacoma(owner,Martin #253-273-1011) are there any CO members who are close to this location to get a good look at this car, I'm from Mass. Thanks?

If the broadcast card is for this W31 then the car is not in its original colour.
The broadcast card has code 58, Burnished Gold for both top and bottom.
Either way - it's a nice looking car.

Cheers,

Good eye!

Those are not the correct grilles. Easy swap out once purchased.

If Martin is a man of his word and the car is what he says it is, then it is sold.

Anyone in the Area that can help perform an inspection please advise. I would be glad to compensate for your time.

The W-31 doesn't have its original engine so I'm out on the deal.

I have no problem paying a bird dog, unless you post it in a public forum : )

more

Although it is a nice looking car $28K is too steep for me for a car that has had a color change, does not have an original engine & needs grilles & a fender swapped to be correct. Very nice car as is just not $28K nice.

It was to somebody apparently, he sent me an email stating that he sold it to the next guy in line.
