1972 Hurst oldsmobile in need of restoration

i just bought this car. I just dont know if i have the time to see it through. i thought i had place to store the car and now that has fallen through. i need to sell this car to someone who can see the project through.

what i know
this is a true W-45
396021 F 455
with D heads
405233 J intake

the interior is in unbelievable shape and looks almost spotless, the roof has rust and the body needs full paint i will let the pics speak for themselves

i will send pics of the car once i get them loaded in my photobucket.

Always a favorite - hopefully someone will appreciate and restore the '72 Hurst/Olds.

Are you sure they are D heads? Casting # 400370? If so, those are 68-69 W-30/HO specific heads and are worth several thousand dollars by themselves. Better check those out again!

There's another thread on it. It's a 69 H/O motor including the correct intake which is worth more than the D heads

So you are saying you also bought a 1972 HO with a 1969 HO D headed 455 for under $3K when the heads & intake is worth more than that?
