1955 Olds 98 Holiday Sedan (SOLD PLEASE DELETE).
For Sale in Tucson, Arizona: (SOLD PLEASE DELETE THREAD).
Nicely documented all original 1955 Oldsmobile 98 Holiday Sedan. I am the 2nd owner (purchased from the son of the original owner). The car is Twilight Blue and Polar White. Its nicely optioned. 102K original miles. Number matching original drivetrain. Completely rust free car (built in California, has been in Arizona all it's life).
Accessories/options:
324/202 Rocket engine, power steering, power brakes, automatic transmission, power windows, power seat, padded dash, autotronic eye, dash clock, tinted glass, rear speaker, dual outside mirrors, "Oldsmobile" passenger visor mirror, and courtesy light package.
Documentation:
I have the original bill of sale, monthly installment contract, 1,000 mile warranty coupon, copy of original title, annual registrations from 1955 until 1971, original owner’s manual, and the original keys with knockouts still in place. The car even still has the original selling dealer license plate frame.
The car will need:
Paint, minor bumps fixed, the seats redone, a new dash pad, some basic maintenance, the clock is in-op, fan blower is also in-op. Temp gage/fuel gage are both in-op (fuse)?
Everything else works. All lights work (still has the original 1955 guide headlights) cigarette lighter works, signals work, windows/seat work, horn works, dash lights work, interior lights work. All trim is in excellent condition, chrome is in very nice condition.
She starts every time with one pump of the gas even after sitting for weeks. The carb and the generator were rebuilt in September. All new wheel cylinders, pinion seal, valve cover gaskets, and trans pan gasket were recently done. Clear Arizona title in my name.
This is a great start to an awesome project. I have not done anything with the car lately because of other projects. I just crank it up, and run it through the gears (to keep things lubed up). Additional pics are on flicker, or in my photo album on this site.
