Therobski's 67 Tribute 67 442

Guys I am getting ready to sell my 67. Many of you have helped me build this car. My time and interest is all over the 64 pro-touring build and whenever I get that done the 63 Corvette is next.If any of you guys are seriously interested PM me for my cell. The car is not posted for sale anywhere at this point but from what I'm seeing on E-Bay, on Classic Auto Trader, and Barrett Jackson this weekend. I believe $22,500 is a very reasonable for this build. Currently there is a 67 442 on E-Bay that's already over 23K and it's an altered car not an original 442. Short description:

I don't think you'll have any trouble selling it.

I don't think so either, but it's not a "fire sale" See what happens seems the market is active though. I really would like to get the 64 at least started up by the end of the year-Do you know that the 67 400E that's in the 64 build is the one I had for sale a while back. That motor runs excellent and it will do until I decide to move forward with the 425. Thanks.

That's funny about the 400E. I'm curious to what your 67 brings. With a 4 speed I would think it would bring more.

Here is the build sheet on the 455, I also have the dyno results and if you understand what it says I was running very lean. All I had at the time for the motor break in was a 650 CFM Edelbrock. Builder said there was most likely 40-50 left behind. But I wanted to get the car home asap.because I broke the 455 in on the 2008 Power Tour. Motor runs flawless in August maybe 180 degrees around here.

Engine/ Professionally built 455
455 line-bored .30 over with Old's designed torque plates. All ARP bolts and studs were used for assembly. Runs great and COOL on 93 Octane 20 degrees initial timing and at 36 degrees advanced on a GM HEI.

Inside of block was smoothed de-burred; all the oil return passages were ported and smoothed. Interior surfaces were coated with Glyptol oil slick to help speed oil return.
Oil feed passages from the pump were also bored and smoothed.

Nodular crank was turned .10 under cross drilled and balanced. (It took 3- 4 blocks of Mallory) Ford 460 rear main seal. Flow Clevitt 77 bearings. Factory rods were smoothed; shot penned, and matched to forged Speed Pro pistons with gapless rings.

Cam is a Comp Cams Extreme energy XE274 grind, Comp Cams coated push rods. Harland Sharp roller rockers. Coyles double roller chain.

Edelbrock heads were pressure tested for leaks and milled to give true 10.25:1 compression. No pings on 93 octane!!

Torker intake was port matched to the Edelbrock heads and smoothed.

Dean Oliver race prepped GM-Olds numbered 800CFM Q-jet,

You seriously need to reconsider your price, start higher. You can always come down. List it on racingjunk.com. If you want to cut a member a deal with the current price go for it.
