My question is, does it really have over 350,000 miles on it, and does he really know that the mileage is exactly 352,082? The odometer would have had to have turned over three times now, and with only five digits, does he really know how many times it has turned over?

Of course, when a car reaches that many miles, who cares how many miles are on it. He could have just said "off the dial" and be done with it.

It does kind of look like a police car in the background of the first pic so they may have gotten it from a drug auction.

I also see you have a Monte Carlo, is it an original BB car? My dad and I have a few, 3 of them are BB cars, 2 of those are documented SS454 cars and the third is a 72 factory 402 car. Good to see another Monte around.

She's a Delta CUSTOM evidently- taillight halves in the bumper. Paint is an easy fix. Red interior, have to live with it I guess.

Seller sounds kind of impaired. "[then] realized how much work it needed..." then the flaws listed are: "No windshield wipers, no trunk locks, no antenna" - that's it? Oh, damn SO MUCH work it needs.

I cannot decipher what the engine info is about- looks like he read the machinist's bob weight calculations and typed them into the ad like those numbers are exotic cam specs or something.

"I have had this car a month. Purchased for my 15 year old, realized how much work it needed, ready to sell. I have the information it was listed with when I purchased it. I do not know how much is truth, I took the seller at his word.

Careful, Jaunty. Remember, when paint gun are outlawed, only outlaws will own paint guns...

And you can only begin to guess at the horrors that you would see if that ever happened!

Chris, you have a talent for understatement -
I would say that that listing looks like it was written by someone with brain damage, but it would be insulting to people with brain damage.

I'm not saying that paint guns should be outlawed outright. Rather, one should have to fill out an application before being allowed to purchase one. There needs to be only one question on it:

1. Will you do something stupid with the paint gun? ___ yes ___ no

"If your answer to #1 is "no," please proceed to the cashier. If your answer is "yes," the exit is to your right."

Oh, that's a different story.

I would suggest one addition: They go out the exit if the application is completed in crayon.

IT'S PRETTY SAD WHEN YOU HAVE TO UPLOAD PICTURES OFF EBAY TO PROVE WHATS UGLY IN YOUR EYES.

Who uploaded pictures off ebay?

Why is it sad to point to an auction on ebay as an example of something, ugly, pretty, or anything else?

I wore out with their vast knowledge of the 433 engine specs!

If the paint is shiny and the body work was in good shape its better to look at that than a run of the mill grandpa nerd car.

OK, give us an example of a "run of the mill grandpa nerd car," and, before you answer, remember that there are many people on here who own what you might consider a "grandpa nerd car," are very proud of them, and would be more than happy to hand you your head on a platter if you say something stupid.

"Grandpa nerd"

I like it.

Something to aspire to.

What kind of car would I drive?
