Doc, you haven't had this car that long.
Wish I wasn't putting the bucks in my 70 right now, otherwise I'd be all over it.

Hi John... Nice to hear from you.. I've had it 2 years. It's a strong runner with a beautiful interior. I can't believe no one wants it.. I've had tons of calls on it the last few months with people making an appointment to see it but no one ever shows up.. I guess you have to expect that from Craigslist. Anyways, nice to hear from you again. Good luck with your Tuesday cruises, and speaking of that, come on up and visit us on Rt 104, next to Pitts, every Tuesday. It would be nice to see you... Best wishes..Doc

I've been meaning to get up there to the Speed Shop to check out the Cruise. Lately, my work schedule has been crazy though. Get home between 6 & 7 and have no gumption to go back out.

The Omega looks great. Is it as solid as it looks? The black/houndstooth interior really compliments the red exterior. Are all the "S" models hatchbacks? If not, maybe you note that the Omega is a hatchback in your description. Is the engine the original 350? Made a big mistake back in '75 and bought the new Starfire instead of an Omega hatchback with the Oldsmobile 350 engine.

If I was not trying to rebuild my brother's 442, that he bought new in February 1971, but was totaled in the early 80's, I would definitely be very interested in purchasing the Omega.

Thanks for your post Anthony. Yes, the car is as solid as it looks, topside and underneath. The frame rails, floors, rockers, and truck are perfect, with surface rust only. The rear leaf spring rubber bushings have cracks in them, but they're almost 40 years old, and original. As far as I know, the rocket 350 is original to the car, with aftermarket goodies thrown in.The car complements my Nova, but I want another project for the winter. I'm looking for a Vega V8 conversion. It will probably be my last car to really play with. I'll be 63 this October, and 100% disabled, so I'm looking for a project or even swap that I can modify to want I want.
