1967 cutlas holiday coupe 330 4 spd

It's a project. Got it as a buy the entire lot or get nothing.
Body is very nice.
Interior is complete.
Lots of trim in very nice condition all removed and in the trunk.
Engine turns.
Floor pans replaced.
Rockers and frame rails are rust free
Not much needed on the body .
Engine is a mystery.
Currently the spark plugs and wires are out of the car.
Evidence of coolant around the plugs.
Intake is inscribed 350 performer.
Holley carb.
All complete engine but I don't know what it would need to be a solid engine.
Has a hurst 4 speed floor shifter but has trans cooler lines hooked up to the radiator so maybe a attempted auto conversion?.
Not sure but the lines have snips in them.
Has Mickey Thompsons tires.
Nice vintage mag wheels.
Rust in the trunk floor.
Great project

Got em, they came small. I was hoping I could post them for you here. The car appears to be saffron and a plain Cutlass...not a Supreme. This car would be more desireable if it were a factory 4spd car. To post pictures go to advanced reply and click manage attachments and a window will pop up for getting the picts uploaded.

I don't think that's a 330. I wish you were closer, I'd still buy it.

Can you post a picture of trim tag on firewall? Than may help determine if it is a factory 4spd car.

"2L" is the hole for a floor 3- or 4-speed, yes?

I believe so 2L is for the floor shift standard trans. With the paint code V-V the car was originally the dark gray color called Antique Pewter

2L is 4-speed floor shift manual transmission.

Right! That would be a B, not an L if it was a 3-spd manual floor shift.

And that is one rare car! Being a Cutlass Holiday Coupe 4-spd and not a Supreme. Which I think is nice to see. (They are faster then the Supreme.....) There were only about 400 4spds in the whole 3600 ("regular" Cutlass) series. Compare that to the 11,000+ 442s in '67 that had a 4-speed!
Of those 400, about 270 were M20 wide ratios and 130 were M21 close ratios.

Not trying to steal this thread but what would a "2LR" and a "2R" both from Lansing be? A 4-speed non-console and column shift 2 speed auto?

Each digit is a specific option
there are 5 sets _,2,3,4,5

SET 2
L = 4-speed manual transmission (M20/M21)
R = rear speaker (U80)

Without L - "4-speed" or B - "HD 3-speed"
& the lack of a G - "sports console" in set #2 would indicate a column shift car.

I'm not sure what would differentiate between manual 3-speed on the column & a 2-speed Jetaway, but a Turnpike Cruiser or 442 would be a column shift Turbo 400.

What does math have to do with anything?!?
Thanks, Dan, it was worse that bad math, I really had the figures all messed up. Should be 270 + 130 = 400. I'll edit that post to save some confusion. Still some rare air.

NEW DETAILS.

The trans was swapped at some point.
Currently has a automatic trans mounted to the engine.
It has no clutch pedal, bell crank or anything else clutch related.
The 4 spd hurst shifter is still sitting in the trans hump.

I don't think thats a 4 spd shifter. I think that is a hurst automatic shifter someone added.

manual hurst shifters are mounted to the back of the trans, is it flopping around inside the hole? or is it mounted to the floor ?

I have decided to hold off on selling fellas.
I had a looker tell me the engine was from a late 50's
Had it confirmed by a gm specialist.
Thanks for the response.
