No not a 371...pictures clearly show a modern small block engine and a 350 manifold would in no way bolt to a 371 engine....

Agreed, Joe, that's just a weird, out-of-left-field thing for him to say.

Judging by the size and the visible details (bolt locations, brackets, valve covers, intake), it's a 350 (twist-on oil cap).
No way it could ever be a 371.

This is the same guy who seems less-that-aboveboard in another thread.

I pointed that out when he first posted pic's of the car. He said it was a 330, with a 4 speed. Then as you read along it's suddenly an automatic, with no clutch assy. And it supposedly has a 4 speed shifter, that I personally think is a hurst-a-matic, because a 4 speed shifter needs to be attached to a trans and I don't think it will just flop around in there.

Something is fishy about this seller. He has another car for sale that had a bunch of Miss-truths about it too. I would say that if someone was really interested in this car, then go look at it in person, and look over it really good!!!

Yup. Without a transmission to attach to, there is absolutely NOTHING that would hold a shifter in place and keep it from falling onto the ground.
