1949 GMC Pickup Olds Powered All New
1949 GMC Custom Pickup
'Oldsmobile Powered'
This 1949 GMC was totally upgraded last year with only 1000 miles logged since completion. The truck has many features that make it a very comfortable truck to drive. It sits on a shortened and substantially reinforced Cutlass Supreme frame. All frame components including shocks, ball joints, brakes and lines etc. were restored and detailed. The list of extras added to the truck is quite extensive and many will be listed below.
The engine is a new 350 Olds crate engine with a mild cam along with a Turbo 350 transmission, Holley 650 spread bore carburetor, MSD ignition and full chrome treatment, Vintage AC (no heat, truck is a summer only driver) New Exhaust and Polished Aluminum radiator all running to a 3:55 Posi rear.
The Cab and Bed were also restored. New tinted windows w/chrome trim and window rubber, insulated floor and sound proofing material throughout the cab, new wipers and motor, CD player and floor speakers, Chrome Tilt column, Billet Gauges, Dakota bucket seats, matching carpet and mats, molded door panels, Pop door locks and more.
The bed is restored with full carpeting and custom fit cover where you can store your luggage, chairs and cooler. Other outside amenities include Chrome Bumpers and Grille, Stainless trim, New Cragar mags and tires.
