I'm looking into this car currently, even though it is located in Florida and I'm in MN . Anything that you experts can point out would be appreciated. They are asking for $19.5K

Seems a bit steep for a cutlass but it is a 4 speed. Good luck

It is kinda of a resto mod. I personally like the Post coupe, others hate it. Find out if it is an original 4 speed car. I always look into that since many guys hack doing a 4 speed conversion and it can always lead to problems. The car is truly worth what you are willng to pay for it. I would be willing to bet that you can prob get that car for 15000-16000 with a cash offer and then it would be a great deal on a nice show/driver cutlass. Dont forget driver 442's are going for not much more then 15-25000 depending on condition options and time of year. lol. Spring time is here which mean people got their tax returns which means lots of money ready to be had for a seller and to be given from a buyer lol

Now, with a Post coupe, is the only difference the existance of a post and a loss of a few hundred pounds? Got to admit, I don't really like the color for some reason, maybe its the brown top, but the pictures give me the feeling that it was cared for or was recently restored. It really comes down too how much rust or bondo is hiding. Found a few other cars closer to home, out of range a bit:

70' W30 , but automatic:

70' Ralleye 350:

It is an odd color combo but I think that is part of the draw - pretty cool looking. Four speed 455 is nice but I don't see it listed as an original engine. Wouldn't matter to me but I think that is a lot of money for the car either way. The blue W30 and Johnny's 442 are better values to me. The rallye is a nice car too but a little high priced as well.

JMO but I don't see $20K there, but its a nice car. Personally I hate the black grilles & headlight housings but that is an easy fix. It makes it look like the grilles are missing.
