This car is a clone. It was on ebay and sold for $10k last month. The previous owner used parts from an original W-31 to build this car. I contacted him and told him about this forum and recommended he post it here. He was honest and up front about the car being a Cutlass with a/c and power brakes, but the new owner has left this out of his description.
It sounds like a really nice car and it was a heck of a deal at $10K! Good Luck with the sale.

Yea, I saw it on eBay, too. I was unaware that it sold, and never paid a whole lot of attention to it once I saw the items that should not have been there.

It came from VA, maybe close to you? Looked like a really nice toy and if I didn't have too many toys, I wouldn't mind having it at the price it sold for. The current owner is somewhere near me now. If it doesn't sell, I'll probably run into him somewhere this summer.
