Thinking of selling my 71 442 conv.

I am thinking of selling my 71 442 conv. Car is very clean and solid with original drivetrain and paperwork (broadcast card, protecto plate, owners manual) auto, ac, posi, buckets and console. 20k will buy the car. I thought I would offer it here before anywhere else. PM me if interested.

It's a nice car - I'm sure you'll have no trouble. Good luck

Beautiful car!! Someone will be getting a fair deal on a 442 convertible. Thanks for offering it here first.

71 with an original drivetrain, should have 455 then. Wouldn't worry about the miles unless its a 10k original mile car.

Its a nice looking car that's for sure and a fair price

Thanks for the encouragement and compliments guys. Yes original 455 4bbl with matching trans, auto with console, stock am/fm stereo, dash not cut up, original exhaust manifolds, original G heads, original Harrison 4-row radiator, original shocks, power front disc brakes, AC blew cold 5-6 yrs ago but now does not. Mileage I believe is 106k +/-? Unmolested and besides a repaint 15+ years ago and some interior work, the car all original.
A car like this, as most of you know is very hard to find complete without frame rot or body rust. I've owned it since 2000 and have had big plans for it all these yrs but mortgage wife and kids come first. No time, $ or space. I've owned a few of these cars and this is the cleanest most original.

Very nice. I'm getting very close to being able to pull the trigger - just not quite there yet. Sure hope to see something this nice in this price range by the end of summer.

x2. Even one of my favorite colors too. I would like to have that but the boss would tell me to get rid of a couple of things first. I'm sure it won't last long.

I would be less expensive for me to buy your car than to restore mine. Someone will be getting a really good deal. Good luck with the sell.

Judging from some other 71 442s I've seen on the market, seems like a very fair price.

Hello.

Is the 442 still for sale? If so, could you please forward additional photos to alombardy@msn.com and your phone number.

Thank you,
Anthony

Thanks. I sent a private message but no response yet. Maybe he is busy and I will need to be patient. It may be worth the wait.

If that is the case, I guess he changed his mind. Seemed like a nice car.
