Survivor 54 Super 88

Hey, everyone! This is not my car, but I have seen it. It's a Super 88 4 dr sedan; pretty generic, but a righteous old car. It would be a good one to run as is or could be a reasonably effortless restore. It's a good reference car if nothing else. It appears it might have had a couple touch ups done since I looked at it last August.

BTW - It had full wheel covers on it when I saw it, too. Might be worth asking about those.

That really is a pretty nice old car. Interesting that it has power brakes but no power steering. I love Capri Blue. I think you should buy it and flip the color combo and then it would match your Dad's car. Then there would be matching convertible, 2-door and 4-door sedans and I have a friend in Denver with a 2-door hardtop to match.

I thought that was a strange combination, too. I looked the car over pretty well a few months back. It is a nice solid old car. If you look closely at the pics, you can see a slight color difference on the lower part of the front fenders. I assume there has been some rust repair at those locations. Other than that, it wears most of its original paint.

I'd consider buying it if the owner wanted a '71 Cadillac in trade.

I love to see these vintage cars that have survived in this condition. Good stuff
