Ok, here's maybe some dumb comments...
The fenders/hood and sport mirrors alone are prolly worth around 1000 anyway just because they're OEM. Looks like the hood could be salvaged but has massive fibreglass damage on the front. Fenders might be ok, but in the event they are trash, the upper parts where the 'desired' flat ridge is located appear to be in really good shape. Would that be worth buying (not at 3K obviously) just to make up a set of correct looking fenders? Someone would need some really awesome body skills to make them look perfect but I bet it could be done. BTW that tinted back glass is not made even by the repop glass companies, so I'm thinking this car has potential as a parts car. There's even a 4 core rad and top plate in the trunk. Used to be a 4 speed car by the looks of the interior.
