Flood car 71 Cutlass Supreme on Copart

Not mine, There is a 71 Cutlass Supreme that is said to be flood damaged on Coparts site in NJ. Pictures look good but.... I didn't get a link but you can go to coparts site and look at classics and find it.

It's hard to tell the extent of the damage by the pictures. It also depends on whether it was submerged in fresh water vs salt.

The recent flooding in NJ was salt water - I wouldn't touch it.

says it is located in Trenton NJ, based on that I would say a Sandy victim so assume it was salt or brackish water and is now a parts car.

Being from Jersey originally, I know there are some areas that flood relatively easy and it would be fresh water. Trenton is pretty far from the coast, just saying.

that is why I said "assume". unless you are able to look at it there is a chance it was in salt or brackish water in which case most everything will be junk. Sandy pushed water along way inland so it is tough to know for sure. I am overly cautious with flood cars that were any where near the coast. for the right price even as a parts car it could be good. I am just saying be carefull if you are going to bid on it.
