1967 Oldsmobile 442 For Sale

1967 Oldsmobile C/S 442 for sale. This is a real 442 not a clone. FMI & Pictures http://www.klassicklunkers.com

Interior has been restored with many new parts including door and window rubbers, new carpet, and door panels. Power windows all work. Correct looking stereo is a hidden brand new AM/FM with new speakers all around, and additional ones in the kick panels. Interior is very clean and the headliner is good. Dash is not cracked. Has the correct console and floor shifter w/ 3spd indicator.

Engine and transmission have been completely rebuilt and have about 5000 miles on them. New correct front Legendary bucketseat covers with foam, Oldsmobile trunk mat, floor mats, and spare tire cover w/ bumper jack. The rear end has been re-done and has brand new bearings and moser axles. New BF Goodrich 60's series in front, 50's in rear.

The paint is new, and very good. Undercarriage is very clean, and the frame is solid everywhere. NOS correct 442 headlight bezels, new 442 nameplate trim, correct rear trunk trim panel. Bumpers are either new or have been re-chromed recently. The stainless trim around the windows is in excellent condition w/ new clips around the front and rear window. Chrome and other trim is in good shape. I hate to sell it but you can't keep them all.

Drive it home, even if you live cross country, we have temporary plates available. I would not hesitate to drive this cross country. It rides down the road extremely nice.
Engine: 425ci block w/400 "B" Heads
Transmission: Turbo 400 3spd. Automatic
$22,995

1967 Oldsmobile 442 For Sale

So how rare is this air cleaner? This reminds me of the rare "Star Wars" Buick air cleaner. Also was this on all Oldsmobile platforms in the colder regions?

Okay I found this info on it

1967 OLDSMOBILE CUTLASS 442 CLIMATIC COMBUSTION CONTROL AIR CLEANER. A very unique, and little-known option on the '67 Olds models, with V-8 motor. Including Cutlass Supreme, 442, 88, 98, and even the Toronado. It was a dual snorkel air breather which was supposed to help the engine quickly warm up to operating temps. Listed in the salesman's sheets under 'Factory Installed Options' as 'K-50 Climatic Air Induction, V-8' for a whopping $33.70. Not many 442's had this, although some did. Most 442 buyers wanted the chrome air cleaner that was standard, and not this type setup.

67 442 Air Cleaner

I have the original 442 chrome air cleaner that came with the car. I have had this one for years and I think it looks neat and a lot of people ask me about it. I am restoring a 67 442 convertible and thats why I am selling this to bank roll the new ptoject. My loss, somebody's gain!

Gmo olds show in lancaster ma

Just wanted to say we took this car down to the Oldsmobile show last weekend (a 3hour one way drive.) Fantastic trip with no problems, and i would like to add that the motor in this 442 is broken-in now and is running better than ever before! Makes me have second thoughts selling it but i need the space. The show was put on by the GMO Olds club in Lancaster MA. What a collection of Oldsmobiles in one place, a little of everything. Thank you to the club members and we will see you in the future i'm sure.

I have lowered my asking price on this 442 to $23,995
