Thanks for the correction!
Sorry for the "bad punctuation". Thanks for getting the right link posted.
Don't know the numbers, but I think there aren't too many regency 2-doors. I would have liked to put on black sport mirrors and rallye rims.
The rear bumper has some rust, I thought it might be cheaper to blast it and paint it black.

There were four 98 models for 1979, and their production is below.
Luxury Coupe: 2,104
Luxury Sedan: 6,720
Regency Coupe: 26,965
Regency Sedan: 91,862
So as far as Regency models go, yes, production of the two-door models was less than 1/3 of the four-doors. But Regencies of both types were produced in far larger numbers than the base versions of each style.
I think your asking price is very fair. Good luck selling it.

I don't think the VIN would tell you which you had. The third and fourth digit tell you the body style, so you know you'd have a coupe or a sedan, but it wouldn't distinguish between the two lines, I don't think.
Looking again at the production figures, it seems that most buyers opted for the higher-end Regency model in each case. The base prices of these models were as follows:
Luxury Coupe: $7492
Luxury Sedan: $7673
Regency Coupe: $7875
Regency Sedan: $8063
Given the relatively small percentage price difference, it's not surprising that most buyers spent the extra money for the higher line car. The Regencies in each case were only 5% more in price than the corresponding Luxury. Why not go for the extra few hundred dollars and get the nicer car.
