When is the last time you saw one of these !
try looking one of these up on crigslist, Racing Junk or ebay & see how many you will find.......
1957 oldsmobile 88, J2 the golden rocket,
371 v8 TRI POWER (57 chevy eater back in the day)
4 spd AUTOMATIC
super solid, super nice interior,
new tires, new paint, all new brakes & brake lines,
car runs and drives PERFECT, you can fly in & drive home from anywhere.
THE BAD:
the guy had trouble with 1 of the carbs so he put a single 4bbl carb and intake on it.
I HAVE THE ORIGINAL TRI POWER INTAKE WITH ALL THE CARBS THAT GO WITH IT !!!!!!!!
asking 18,500 or best cash offer, cash or wire transfer
will trade for :
55 chevy
camaro
nova
gto
lemans
67-68 dart
chevelle
anything neat, love ALL 4 speed cars, i think you get the pic

The fact of the matter is, at virtually every car show I attend locally, all the 57 and 58 Olds are J-2's. Actual fact is, Olds did not make that many j-2 setups back in the day. Most of these undoubtedly are aftermarket conversions, as opposed to being factory original production.
