1971 Cutlass SX - going to crusher on 7/30

Moving, need gone by then whether it be stripped clean and body crushed or whatever... it's going to be parted out on Sunday 7/29 and being litterally sent to the scrapper on Monday 7/30.
I can't take it with me unfortunately since my garage only holds 6 cars and I have no driveway space.
I've got $1400 tied up into it.
To get it on the road it litterally needs a dash and front seat belts in the interior and an engine/trans/radiator/exhaust/accessories under the hood
Everything else is there as well as extra parts come with it.
Would make a good start for someone wanting a cheap easy driver project that's not a rot box, especially in the northern states.

Hmmmmm...

maybe sell it to a collector for what the scrap metal man would give ye for it. Generate some positive karma and keep it around a while.
Same result for you, but with less work.

just a thought

Have the shell advertised on Craigslist as such, not one bite or offer for that matter... I can sell the parts off the car + the scrap value of the frame/shell and get my money back that way. No one has shown any interest in a clean frame with suspension or a good body shell that needs minimal work.

I've only had one guy look at this car and it's been advertized since April, he was expecting to make a show car out of it.
It's good for a driver and is priced as such since a few small areas need attention such as the quarter being redone, one patch needed by the rear window and a few drill and cutouts patched on the floors.

The body is a lower production sequence and has early 71 fenders without the crash bumps.

Bad month to crush things. 4 months ago, it was $310 per ton. This month, chicagoland is around $220 per ton.

Guy wound up being extremely rude and unrelighable, I'm not going to hold a car for two weeks in this situation on someone's word. When I told him if someone was going to come forth before him he decided to flame me... total jerk. I am not going to wait on some stranger in hopes that he MIGHT show up. I've had nothing but deadbeats and dreamer contact me on this car... at this point I could care less what happens to this car, if someone truely wants it and it's actually worth what I paid for it then it would have been long gone by now. I've only had one person actually show interest and look at the car in 4 months.

Local junk man said he will give me $400 for the bare body and frame with the title, rest will be sold off.
