1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass “S”
Truly a ONE OWNER survivor vehicle. The undercarriage is in wonderful condition; never seen snow! 40+ years old, excellent condition, NEVER wrecked, and always garage kept!
Have original window sticker, build sheet, and title history. My great grandmother, Alice, purchased the vehicle brand new, and ever since it has been highly maintained. The vehicle has been repainted, once, about 15 years ago. Original Oldsmobile SSII wheels, painted the same color as the car with 235-60-14 tires.
Current engine is an Oldsmobile 455 .30 over, forged pistons, factory rods (shot peened), nodular iron crankshaft, inertia style flex plate, entire bottom end (crank, rods, pistons, harmonic balance, flex plate) has been balanced. Edelbrock Torker II intake with Mondello’s “Posi-Flow” stuffer that increases engine vacuum at idle. Cylinder heads are “C” casting with stainless oversized valves that have also been mildly ported & polished. MSD 6AL ignition system.
TH400 with 2600 stall converter. Transmission has upgraded modifications such as 34 element sprag, valve body mods which allow a more positive 2-3 shift & more holding force in all gears along with other mods. Transmission has much more positive shifts (not too harsh) excellent drivability & street manners. The rear end is a posi differential (cone style not clutches) with 3.55:1 gear. However, the sale also includes the original drivetrain rebuilt 350cid with edelbrock 4 barrel intake & camshaft, rebuilt TH350, & complete original rear end with 2.56:1. It has new 2.5 inch exhaust with an X pipe, dual electric cutouts, and 3 inch chrome tips.

It's a nice looking car and fabulous interior. But its not in the class of 'survivor'. That implies original pretty much everything including paint. It presents well as a modified 1970 Cutlass S with spare parts though.
