1971 Delta 88 442 tribute car for sale !
Up for sale is my beloved "Delta 442". The entire body was taken down to bare metal then covered in quality materials by a very picky bodyman, me. I finished the work last summer and then had it painted last September. The underside of this Montana car is sqeeky clean with zero rust. This is a very rare surviving `71 with a one of a kind look. It has the 350 two barrel with 130,000 miles on it and is 99.9% stock. I replaced the points with Pertronix electronic ignition and it runs like a top. It sounds like a race car with its 2 1/2 inch exhaust running through a pair of Flowmaster "Delta 40s" but is as reliable as the day it was born. I drive this car almost every day and would drive it anywhere. The turbo 350 was rebuilt last summer and shifts strong and flawlessly. As the car stands right now, the engine compartment is totally original and would have to be detailed if you were to show it. Otherwise, just drive it like I have been and forget about it. Also, as the car stands right now, the price of $9,950 is for the car with it`s 100% complete original interior in need of a quick and easy makeover. The longer I have the car I will begin to finish the interior and the price will go up accordingly, maxing out at $12,500 when finished. The seats are already at the upholstery shop but they have not yet begun the work. Right now the car is fitted with a 1969 Camaro bucket for driving. I`ve had a lot of cars in my time but this one turns the most heads of any that I have ever had. $9,950 and you can drive this anywhere you like. GL with the sale.
You did a great job with it.
It's nice to see more cars in that color popping up lately that have been re-painted.
I've seen so many with thinning paint (tho some are still presentable) .....
You almost forget that ... that color can actually shine & really pop.

Fantastic craftsmanship! My compliments on a great looking car. Really enjoyed the album. I like the retro 88 emblems inserted into the tail lights. Should advertise this as a "1 of 1" - it would get a lot of interest. You did the stang too?

Thanks everyone for the compliments ! Come see the car in person at the "Back To The 50`s " car corral in Minnesota later this June if I still have it. Right now, I`ve only put the car up for sale on Craigslist and classicoldsmobile.com (being cheap right now). Later on the car will go on Ebay along with a `60 88 Dynamic bubbletop that I am also selling. I suppose I should put that up on this site too. Anyway, thanks again and enjoy your cars !
