The completed project makes for one of the rarest road going Oldsmobile's ever to exist...
No, not the rarest. There are LOTS of one-of-none Oldsmobiles out there...

No question, that is one beautiful car.

But could it be anything other than a trailer queen roped off at shows?.

I don't get the lines in the valley under where the inlet manifold goes, can someone enlighten me as to their purpose?.

Roger.

Imagine driving that car, running it through the gears, and a rod pops through that block!

I think it has been for sale for some time. If it was a matching number, top shelf, 4-speed, real W-30 it might be worth (not worth it but might sell for) that price. That motor is cool, though. I'm a small-block Olds guy and think the car James Kryta created is pretty neat, too. A aluminum W-31 that never was in production. Olds had some innovative engineers and all we can say is "WHAT IF"!!!!!!!!!!

The seller never said it was a real W-30. The Kryta car is beautiful, but I still have to wonder how it won a "Stock" class...
