71 Ninety Eight 2dr coupe (nice driver)

ts a 71 98 LS coupe nice driver 10ft car. Loaded 455 one time repaint. Interior is showing a little wear on some of the seams but still very useable. Its a car you could hop in and drive across county tomorrow if you wanted to. It drives like a dream down the highway.

I am pricing at $7400.00 but will consider trade plus cash for?? For a trade I have to have at least $5500.00 cash plus the trade. Richard 214 seven nine three OO29

That car cleaned up nicely Richard. Did you repaint the RS wheel skirt? Overall that car looks solid. May I suggest you put a list of the options on the car and what mileage it has? Hope you get the ask.

I got a few more pics to take. I will get some from under the car and the ones of the dash as soon as I get new blower switch (any day now)

The RH skirt is a little off in color (it came that way) the pics make it stand out worse than it is.

As for options I'm not sure what was standard equipment on the LS. Miles are 163Kish I was told by original owners nephew that few years back the motor was gone through but I have no proof of that. The uncle is not around and the Nephew did not know a whole lot about it.

it has
- Power windows
- power seat
- A/C
- rear defrost (not working)
- am/fm radio
- tilt /telescopic wheel
- 4brl 455
- power steering and brakes (I'm sure that's standard)
- cruise ( but has an aftermarket cruise added too)

Good Luck

I thought I saw this car on Dallas CL two months ago for like 2,500. The guy listed it like 15 times over the course of a year with no takers. I thought about buying it-but was turned off by the incorrect job that was done on the front seat and incorrectly restored engine bay. Also, the repaint was quite cheap. I think it also had the wrong radio. Other than that-pretty nice/solid driver.

Sounds like the same car. I have spent the last 2 months making it a whole bunch better car than what it was. The paint was not bad for a driver just had over-spray everywhere. Ive got at least 20 hours in just cleaning over-spray. Its a good car and I will have no problem selling it. Still have a few more loose ends to tie up and it will be officially ready for a new home.

Pretty much ready to go now added some more pics and dropped the price more in line to what the market is. I ended up having to put a new compressor on it today. When we tried to charge the old on it was spitting out refrigerant from the front seat as fast as we could put it in. Nice cool A/C the whole way home.

Your original ad price is $7400. What did you drop the price to?

I thought the original ask was 8000 Did I miss something? If a moderator changes the thread I don't know if it shows the editing like it does for the rest of us.

I have had edited the original post down to $7400.00 for the last week with a few nibbles but no bits yet. There are more details in my EBAY ad that ends tonight. I just dropped the price last night there to $6900.00 and will be re-listing it again when it ends. Let me know if you have any questions about it.

I'm suprised to see 2 cars on that trailer. I would think only 1 98 would fit on a 2 car trailer unless the other was a smart car.

Glad you got it sold.

Did you see how much it was overhanging the rear of the trailer??
