Would this car even be safe to drive at Highway speeds? I guess I'm getting too old to understand what makes this cool....
Just a few thoughts/questions about it.. Thinking outside of the OOO, Ah, factor.
1. Center of gravity to high? - Easy to Rollerover?
2. Cornering stability issues? - Drivability, handling performance.
3. Tires rubbing on fenders/control arms?
4. Would the stock brakes work properly with the suspension jacked up all the way around?
5. Would the steering components need to be altered to make this safe? IE: - Tie Rod Length etc.
6. Would the drive shaft need to be custom made to make this work?
7. How does putting these sized wheels effect the ball joints?
8. Would the control arms need to be strengthened/replaced from stock to be safe?
9. Would it cause more of a twist on the frame to run these sized wheels?
10. How much worse would your gas mileage be running these wheels?
11. Would your speedometer ever be correct?
12. How many blocks do you think you could travel in this car before the police had you pulled over and everyone in your cars pockets inside out? LOL

More and more
I am seeing more and more of this type of "customization". Seemingly the people who do this are more interested in the wheels than the car they carry. Ridiculous, dangerous, and downright aesthetic failure.
I have to fight the immature urge in me to punch them right in the snot-locker.

No one in their right mind would even try. I can imagine that the suspension is shot and the frame might be bad too. Looks like the drivers door isn't lining up. Either bent frame or sagging door hinges. People who shoot $2000 worth of paint on a car is often hiding the problems that lurk underneath.

These vehicles are not safe to be in the road. I was hit head on by one of these turds a couple of years ago. It was a 1986 Monte Carlo SS Aerocoupe with 28" rims and a 10" lift. We met on the road just as the front suspension broke. The car turned left instantly. It was pretty ugly. Totaled my GMC 3500 and the driver of the Monte Carlo spent about eight weeks in the hospital. Any time I see one on the road I steer pretty clear.

Ok, its unanimous. We do an intervention and get these cars away from these blockheads. Then after a thorough $hitkicking we have them watch as we crush these abominations into little homeboy cubes.
Hilarious in the third grade?? The elephant joke STILL works!

Fond memories of years gone by. I told that joke to a lady (i say lady because she was quite abit older than me) during our bowling league. She responded it was her favorite food. I worked at a nearby grocery store and a couple of days later she showed up and took me home with her and I got lucky Ah yea, those were the days.

Sadly I see more of this stupidity all the time.Being in a car club or just going to shows etc you see a bit of everything. The dumbest looking ones are the 24 inch monsters.Sorry but last time I checked or at least thought 20 inch wheels were for semi trucks.I have to say I hate and that is a tuff or nasty word. But I hate rubberband tires and I see nice cars of all sorts even trucks on craigslist all the time with this junk on them.I had cars with 14 inch wheels for years and was more than happy with them.I am just as happy with 15's.Pickup trucks had 16's and that was the f250's and 2500's or one tons. Now it is common for 17's and 18's.

Its a younger generation.... They do what appeals to them ijs.... If you dont give them money you cant tell them how to spend it.... Most of them respect rally wheels or ss1, ss2s, but some cant respect their taste....
