Hey All,
My Brother has a 78 Supreme for sale in Vancouver, WA. (just over the bridge, North of Portland) This is a running, driving parts car. I think it has a front nose/bumper from a 1980 car. The engine is a 350 (1972) with a mild cam, edelbrock intake and carb. It starts up and runs good, and doesn't burn oil when warmed up and driving, but I think the valve seals are on the way out, as it has the blue puff every time you start it. TH350 trans. Shifts just fine. The car itself has some good parts, but also has a lot of issues. It used to have a vinyl top and has rust problems on top, my brother tried to paint this car in the winter and it looks like hell. No headliner, cruise and power door locks don't work. All the outside electrics work fine so driving it is no problem. It was his daily driver for a while.
I'd like to see him get $500 for it , but you guys can tell me if I'm crazy. Seems like it would be worth it if someone could drive it home and yank the drivetrain out for something else. oops! Forgot to mention, there is another set of wheels that go with the car in the trunk (same as on the car), they looked like they were in pretty good shape. I wish I was down there,..I'd just take it to the swap meet! (Mainly because I'd like to got to the swap meet! If any of you guys are at the swap meet in Portland this weekend, this thing is close...
