how much for the donor body and whats left of the convertible top frame?
Still for sale. Open to offers if anyone wants a project. I start work in Houston on July 1, but the car will stay here in Louisiana.
If anyone wants just the donor body, let me know as I will look to sell it, though I do not have a title for the donor body. I DO have the title for the complete tree'd car.

This weekend, I made the decision to cut my losses with my 1971 Convertible project. This car had all the sheetmetal work completed, then a tree fell across it during a hurricane. I do have another convertible body to put on the frame. The original car is a numbers matching, fully Texas titled car, with a 350 2bbl, and a rebuilt turbo 350 transmission. I have all the pieces to put the car back together, except a deck lid. The left fender I have for the car off of a Vista cruiser was damaged during the same storm, but it MAY be salvagable... I say again, MAY be. After pulling the car out this weekend and cleaning out most of the broken glass, the frame/chassis looks good. However, the convertible frame for the top will need replacing.
The right quarter is salvagable (has a small crease that is easily worked out according to my bodyman) and can be used on the donor body. I will post as many pictures as I have, but if you have any questions, PM me.
The donor body is from Austin, and I do NOT have a title for the body. My plan was to switch out the cowl tag and VIN plate, but you can do what you want. It does have a decklid, but it has some substantial rust along the bottom seam. It will need part of the quarter panel from the original car.
I live in South Louisiana, just north of New Orleans, and you will have to trailer this car obviously. Unless you have a real big trailer, it will probably require two trips in order to get the original car and the donor body.
I am asking $3500 for everything...
I am having a problem getting the pics from my phone to my laptop... I will have pics up Wednesday afternoon...
