1966 Vista on E-Bay...

Not mine, looks fairly clean and loaded....can see the nose sitting funny. If someone has a frame, or needs parts, could be useful!

Really nice looking car Erik, but I'm puzzled at how the frame could be so rotten but the sheetmetal still looks good. Your probably right, it will end up being a parts car as it does have some nice options and the sky glass & trim looks good. I think the price would need to come down though if it were just parts. Yea John, that thing would probably be loaded on your trailer by now if it was on your side of the country!

I agree - that car looks too good to have a rusted frame.
If it does, I'd say it'd make a good candidate for a frame transplant.

The price seems high, and I wonder what else is going on with it.

It's located at a dealer in a very industrial part of New Jersey, where (yes, just like in the HBO TV series), there really IS a lot of day-in, day-out criminal activity, so it could have pretty much any undisclosed flaw imaginable.

That sometimes is a mystery.... my nephew bought a 67 Cutlass conv from upstate NY. Frame was TOTALLY gone from rot yet not a pinhole in the floor....amazing.

Is the car in your part of the state?

Hey John,

If it was on the left coast I'd split it with you! lots of goodies to be had. I'd flip you for the A/C setup. By the way, I still want those two front doors and core support from your 4dr car. I just have to find time to get down and see you.
